The "Chateau de Chassagne-Montrachet" is a family owned vineyard in the heart of France's ancient wine area of Burgundy (Bourgogne). Today Francine Picard is the Château's manager, the grand-daughter of founder Louis Felix Picard, and daughter of Michel Picard who developed the modern Picard company and expanded the business during the 1970s, 80s and 90s to its current 132 hectares of the best crus in Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. Known for its expertise and tradition - using oak barrels which lie in the 11th and 14th century vaulted cellars of the Château - Michel Picard is today admired for wines including: Corton Grand Cru "Clos des Fiètres" (red) Chassagne-Montrachet Devant le château (white) Puligny-Montrachet Les Demoiselles (white) Together with the wines, the Château organizes art exhibitions, wine tastings and hospitality services for a broad range of business and social clients. The Château offers its guests top class designer furnishing, modern materials - many of them sourced locally - luxurious spaces, a warm and welcoming atmosphere and business connections and services (marketing, WIFI, HiFi, AC etc).
