Jane McIntosh

With an educational background in the arts and media, Jane organized theatre and arts' programmes at university before working on events and publications for a number of international organizations based in London, Brussels and Geneva. She has worked as a journalist in London and collaborates with educational groups on training materials and projects (Media Skills Coaching and Courses). Her books include 'Everyday Valais - a look at life in the Swiss Canton' which was accepted as an entry for the Thomas Cook - Daily Telegraph Travel Book Award together with titles on gardening, Guatemala and organisation methodology for groups.

Jane followed a course in international law and focussed on a UK property project until 2001. Then she co-founded Senzaltro, a concert organisation providing a performance platform for young, talented opera singers, as a non-profit organisation in London.

In 2003, Jane was invited to join the organizing committee for the annual UNICEF benefit event at the Rose d'Or international TV Festival. Since then Jane has worked with other festivals and continued her writing on arts and business.

MCM London acts as a link between organisations and people in arts and business. It aims to develop understanding, appreciation and ability for individual success in the performance, promotion and organization of the arts and to encourage those in business to work with artists for mutual, creative - and outcome - benefits.
