David Kadouch, piano (September 2005) - Beethoven's 5th Piano Concerto 'The Emperor' ('Apocalypse Now')

Denis Kojoukhine, piano (October 2006) - Mozart's Piano Concerto number 23 ('Elvira Madigan')

COLLABORATION

The APMC collaborates with prestigious schools of music and academies such as the Purcell School of Music, The Geneva Conservatory, the Verbier Academy, the International Menuhin Music Academy and with competitions such as the Geneva International Competition and the Kazakhstan First Violin Competition.

At the 2005 Ski and Music Festival, the star of 'Vitus' Theo Gheorghiu came to perform with colleagues and teachers from the Purcell School. Film director Fredi M. Murer also spent several days at the Festival.

Collaboration between the APMC and the Concerts du Louvre, Paris, in particular over the last five years has provided unique opportunities for programmes and musical development.

VIOLINS

The APMC also is working closely with a number of violin makers in order to provide instruments of the highest quality for the young violinists and cellists in the programme (Dimitri Maslenikov, cellist, Laureat of the Rostropovich International Competition involved with the APMC since he was 14 years old and Andrei Rosendent, violinist, supported by the APMC since he was 11 years old and recipient of a 3 year scholarship for example).

INTERNATIONAL

Liu Ji and Andrei Rosendent were able to leave their countries accompanied by their mothers as a result of the personal involvement and application of Caroline Murat, conscious of their young age and the particular difficulties such young musicians face. The APMC played an important role in organizing visas, travel arrangements, residence permits, scholarships, choice of teachers and places to stay.

These are unique achievements of which the APMC is very proud.
